FI TOOLS Download Instructions
 
 

File Investigator TOOLS requires a Trial, Purchased or Subscription Registration Key in order to function.  Otherwise, it will simply close when you try to use it.  If you have not yet obtained one of these keys, then press a button on  the right for one.  Once you have a registration key,  follow the steps below to download and install the software.

  1. Download FI TOOLS

    1. Enter www.forensicinnovations.com/download/fit234.exe into your browser.

    2. Press the Run button in your browser's download window, or Press the Save button and run the installer from the place that you saved it to.

  2. Install FI TOOLS

    1. Press the Run button in your browser's Security Warning window.

    2. Press the Continue button in the User Account Control window (Vista and Widows 7)

    3. Press the Read License button to become familiar with our License Agreement.

    4. Press the Next button to continue the install.

    5. Enter the folder to install FI TOOLS in. (default is C:\Program Files\Forensic Innovations)

    6. Press the Next button to continue the install.

    7. Read the FI TOOLS Installed instructions, then press the OK button.

  3. Enter Registration Key

    1. On the Windows Start menu, select All Programs >> Forensic Innovations >> File Investigator File Find.

    2. Select the Tools >> Options... menu item.

    3. Select the Registration tab.

    4. Enter the key in the Enter/Edit Key field.

    5. Press the Add button.

    6. Press the OK button.

    7. Close FI File Find
